I believe ANY student can learn. It is just a matter of HOW they learn and how WE can learn to reach them. I have had many “blended” classes and have learned to adapt my lessons to the exceptional learner, as well as, to the struggling learner.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics with a minor in Secondary Education. I hold a Permanent Mathematics teaching certificate in New York State. I also have a Master’s Degree in Liberal Studies.

I have been teaching mathematics at the high school level in a suburban district in New York State for the last 16 years. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2 and Trigonometry and a lower level Pre-Calculus class.

I was highly involved with all activities involving school spirit when I first started teaching. I organized pep rallies, activities at football games, and the year-end “carnival”. I started my family three years ago.
