I am an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic teacher who is committed to promoting the education and well being of children and young adults. I also possess an open mind and a positive attitude to motivate and inspire others to succeed.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology and then went on to complete my Master’s Degree in Medical Mircobiology. I am now certified as a teacher in the states of New York and Florida. For eight years I was a college laboratory technician in a microbiology lab where I assisted college professors in preparing cultures for labs and in research projects.
For the past twelve years I have taught in the public school system in which I was responsible for planning effective lesson plans and resources for learning outcomes. I also assist in creating curriculum for forensic science electives.
During spare time I prefer to unwind with yoga and exercise. Physical activity is necessary for long term energy and fitness. Furthermore, reading and traveling broadens my knowledge and gain more experience in my field.
