All students can learn and will learn in an environment that suits their needs. Through reading and writing, I believe that students can discover their passions and abilities while also becoming proactive members of society.

I graduated in the top ten of my high school class and then went on to graduate Cum Laude from State University of New York at Cortland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Adolescent English Education. I have also completed a Master’s Degree in Literacy Education.

I have been substitute teaching for 5 years. My student teaching experience was in grades 9 and 10. I held a long-term ELA position in 7th grade. I also tutored an autistic child in reading and writing this past summer for graduate studies.

I was an athlete in high school and am interested in coaching field hockey. Outside of working and going to school I enjoy baking, watching movies, traveling, and am an avid reader.
