I believe that every student can be successful when they are provided with the right support. I also think that technology, when used effectively, is a significant tool for students and teachers. There is no greater reward than seeing someone reach their potential, and teachers with care, compassion, and enthusiasm can help make that happen.
I graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, Canada with an Honours Bachelor of Science with a major in Life Science. I then attended the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in Oshawa, ON, Canada to pursue my passion for teaching by completing my Bachelor of Education. I am qualified to teach Junior/Intermediate/Senior levels with teachables in Biology and Geography.
After completion of my Bachelor of Education I was a full time teacher at a Canadian international school in Hong Kong, accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education. I have experience teaching math and science at various grade levels.
I have been involved in a number of extracurricular experiences, both academic and athletic. Some activities include Yearbook Club, Leadership Camp Committee, Sport-a-thon, Card and Board Games Club, Student Council, and Sport-a-thon.
