My main philosophy is to use patience and strong examples to guide kids and adults through tutoring. It is also equally important to have specific goals and objectives to focus on during each session. I also like to keep in strong contact with parents to ensure that both they and I have the same outcomes in mind.

I first studied at Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, California in 1997 where I student Spanish with an emphasis on Literature and Culture. I then returned to Sonoma State University in 2007 where I graduated with a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Spanish.

I have taught Spanish up to level III at the high school level; first at Northgate High School in Walnut Creek, CA in the 2007-2008 school year, and then at East Bay Arts High School in Hayward, CA in the next school year. I was also doing tutoring part-time and subbing thereafter in the San Lorenzo Unified School District, and Aspire Public School District in Oakland and Berkeley, CA.

My usual extracurricular activities would be hiking and taking great pictures. I also love to spend time with friends and family.
