I believe that everyone deserves to be an active participant in how they learn. I believe that students should be able to access their education in a medium they understand and be able to demonstrate meaningful learning. My role as a teacher is to provide my students with a platform to reach whatever goals they would like to achieve!
I finished my honours Bachelor of Science (Biology/Kinesiology) degree from Brock University in St. Catharines, ON. I had a course load that was heavy on the math and science and I loved it! I complimented that degree with a Bachelor of Education degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
My teaching experience ranges through all high school sciences (general science, biology, chemistry, physics) as well as through health-based courses like anatomy and physiology.
I’m a bit of all “genres”. At home, I tend to read a lot (mostly scientific literature), but when away from the house, I love to fish, target shoot, CrossFit, and hike/camp!
