Teaching is an active skill and each student is unique. The most important part of teaching is listening and understanding where the student is coming from. One has to make sure the student is following, by checking on their progress as the instruction progresses. Always find something of interest to tie to the material taught.
I have a background in the Sciences. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, a Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics and am currently in the process of completing my Doctorate in Population Biology, Ecology and Evolution.
I have experience working with students in a one-on-one environment and as a mentor.
I volunteer at elementary school for underprivileged kids to help mentor them. I am a leader at my church community. I am part of a non-profit organization that help build leaders for the future.
