Learning is the most important part of your life. Learning is something that never stops, no matter your age. Because it is something that happens your whole life, it should also be fun. Learning and fun should go hand and hand and should begin when we are young. As a teacher, it is important to show your students the excitement of learning make sure it is contagious.

I am a recent graduate of Capella University with a doctorate in education. I have a Masters and Bachelors Degree in History. My courses spanned a very broad spectrum of US History. I have also taken courses in Asian and British history.

I have worked in museums, an informal educational setting, for the past 11 years teaching both children and adults.

I play clarinet in a community band near my home. We play in concerts all over our community. I also love to quilt.I make quilts for my friends and family. I enjoy old movies and music.
