My educational philosophy is that all students can learn given the correct resources to allow the student to think, practice, and build upon prior knowledge to lead them to higher levels of academic growth. The best teachers are those who are certified in their specialty areas and provide safe and comfortable environments using strategy-based learning styles to bring out the best in students.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Norfolk State University. I also have a Master’s of Education Degree in Mathematics from Cambridge College. Currently, I am working towards a certification for Leadership and Administration at George Washington University.

I have over 13 years of teaching experience from middle to high school teaching general math, Algebra I, and Algebra II.

I refurbish old computer systems and donate to families who have no computer in their homes. Some refurbished computers are donated to local churches who provide homework sessions for their community members. I also have a home-based screen print and embroidery business.
