EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I believe that all students want to learn; as an educator it is my goal to find out what they want to learn, or how they learn, and adjust it to what I know is required of them, and what is practical for their use. Then it is up to me to teach them those things, and teach them well.I will act as an advocate for both students and colleagues. I will put forth every effort to ensure that the students’ needs are being met above all others. I will attempt to involve the parents of students in any way possible.
I will reflect and evaluate myself, my skills, and my results on a daily basis. I will make a conscious effort to improve daily.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I studied English Literature at the University of Washington in Seattle. I finished my Masters at Eastern Washington University in Education.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have experience teaching in the classroom and helping students in one-on-one cases as well.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I love to travel. I spent the summer backpacking through Europe. I also enjoy going to the gym, learning about marketing and social media, and supporting my students by attending school events.
