My philosophy on education is simple: for one to be a great teacher, they need to have a passion to help. This has been my goal in self improvement since I started college.
I received my bachelors in science from New Jersey City University in Environmental Science/ Geology in 2013. I am currently attending Montclair State University in the doctoral program in Environmental Management. The Environmental Management program is an interdisciplinary program that combines, geology, biology, and chemistry with an emphasis on the Environment.
I serve as a peer tutor and supplemental instructor with the Jersey City Board of Education.
I was the Geoscience club president at New Jersey City University from 2012-2013. I was also the Chaplin (Educational Tutor) for the Tau Delta chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon. Currently, I aid New Jersey City University in an ongoing summer research mapping heavy metal contamination in Jersey City.
