I believe that we should allow the student to bring their diversity and apply their perspective to each and every subject. They will learn more effectively if they own it and the understanding path comes from them.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology. I have a double Master’s Degree in both public health and Anthropology. I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Epidemiology. I have a 4.0 GPA but I do understand the need to receive extra instruction in areas where I am weak. I love reading and communicating and sharing what I read.

I have taught undergraduate classes and have also been a Teaching Assistant when I was in college.

I provide mentorship at Big Bothers Big Sisters and also to incoming International Students at TCU. I like to run and have signed up a about 2 half-marathons each month from October.
