Rather than focusing on grades, I believe that education should be primarily concerned with building life skills and fostering a love of learning. When a student is confident in his or her ability to overcome obstacles, and when he or she is engaged in the classroom material, good grades will follow.
I attended an academic high school that followed the International Baccalaurate (IB) curriculum, and am thus familiar with essay writing for IB English and history. After high school I attended McGill University, where I received a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and World Religions.
I have experience tutoring elementary-aged students in French and English.
I am currently pursuing a career in music management, so much of my spare time is spent interning and going to concerts. I also love watching films, painting and photography.
