My philosophy is that a great teacher loves what he/she is teaching. True learning will take place when a student feels the teaching has a purpose. It is my challenge to teach to a students best interest. I will help my students to reach their best background.

I am a college graduate from Florida Atlantic University. I received my bachelors in Elementary Education. I am also a certified teacher in the state of Florida.

I have taught reading and writing to both 2nd and 4th grade. I have been apart of two different schools. I had the responsibility of creating lesson plans, reading data from benchmark assessments, and creating class based instruction on areas that they are weak. I am familiar with Lucy Calkin’s Readers/Writers workshop and am currently using Top Score Writing as my instructional lessons.

I am a tutor at Renaissance Charter at summit for writing. Once a week I give a mini lesson to struggling students. I need to create my lesson and plan according to their level. I attend SAC meetings each month as well.
