Every student can learn. Every student should be encouraged. Every student deserves a positive learning experience and a safe learning environment. Learning should be engaging and interesting! If lessons are creative and interactive, especially when tailored toward a students’ learning style, students can grasp those concepts that once challenged them and this fosters not only success but self-esteem.

I earned my BS in Biology with a minor in Marine Science at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and graduated with distinction. I am currently working toward my MS degree in Biology. Teaching Certifications: NJ Teacher of Biological Science/PA Professional Certificate in Biology

I am a certified teacher with 14 years of experience. I have taught students from Pre-K through college in a traditional setting as well as in a virtual classroom.

I have a background in paleontology and as such, participate in fossil digs when I can. I hunt, fish and enjoy boating with my husband, routinely accompany him on fishing charters on the Delaware Bay. To keep physically fit, I practice yoga and attend Zumba classes.
