All people learn differently and need to be taught according to their learning style. Everyone has the ability to learn and should be given the opportunity to do so.
I began my post-secondary education at a community college which led to my undergraduate education. My undergraduate coursework was specific to Elementary and Special Education. I am certified K-8 within general education and Pre Kindergarten – grade 12 in special education. To further enhance my teaching options I majored in curriculum and technology for my graduate work.
I have taught for over 15 years in special education and some high school general education. My years of experience have allowed me to learn nearly all subjects which provides me a high level of confidence in various contents.
I have enjoyed coaching my son’s soccer team, high school age girls soccer, and volunteer within my church and pregnancy care centers. In addition, I enjoy reading, hiking with my family, and spending time at the beach when I can.
