I believe that a mind has to be regularly exercised. Every child has a opportunity to be a scholar in his or her school. When the mind is not engaged in academic activities it causes the student to regress rather than progress.
Knowledge is power. I truly believe in those words and my wish and desire is to give learners the opportunity to not just learn things but to understand the knowledge they seek as well. Learner-centered education is the best way for students to obtain the greatest benefits of education and have the best academic experience possible.
My teaching career has been motivated toward the appreciation of elementary school children. I have a passion to educate young minds and help them flourish into responsible and successful citizens. I use a variety of approaches and strategies to facilitate learning because I believe not all students learn the same way, but all students are capable of learning.

Chalk Talk: When Schools Implement Uniforms

Not all students may like uniforms, but more and more schools are requiring uniforms in order to maintain a certain environment in the classroom. Many students may not like wearing uniforms, which may cause a problem for parents. On the positive side, uniforms ease the hassle of getting dressed in the morning, and reduce the need for extra clothes shopping during the year. They also create a sense of community, and increase concentration on school rather than fashion. On the other hand, some argue that uniforms reduce creativity, and that people express themselves through fashion. In order for your children to be happy wearing uniforms, let them know the positive aspects of wearing uniforms, and help them to personalize what they can in order to maintain their sense of individuality. Decorating lockers, backpacks, or mixing and matching various aspects of a uniform are all ways to display uniqueness while still adhering to school requirements.
