Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Duluth District Curriculum

Aside from these progressive ideas about technology, Duluth is also above average in terms of standardized test results. This is because of
a committed and diverse curriculum that does not just focus on the old standards, but also brings in subjects such as Pre-Engineering, World
Languages, Computer Applications and Music. We will focus on these areas too, and by helping students to succeed in such diverse areas, we

Chalk Talk: Working with Technology in the Classroom

Teaching students to become technologically advanced is important in our ever growing and changing world. The way to begin is to not be afraid of the technology yourself. With all of the news stories about negative issues that occur on the internet, it is easy to want to shield our children. However, with diligent support and protection, children can become proficient in the use of technology, preparing them for many years of competition ahead in the global community. Work with children to use computers and educational programs that might further the curriculum of the schools they attend and always show them productive ways to use technology for learning.
