Chalk Talk: Inquiring Minds Are Learning Minds

Encourage your child to ask questions continually. Some children do this automatically and some have to be encouraged. A child who asks questions learns a lot more than one who is too shy to do so. You can encourage this by asking questions of him or her. Or make a time every day that he or she must ask a question and you will answer it. It’s all about encouragement and making time. A child with an inquiring mind will find learning a pleasure.
