Chalk Talk: How to Find Free Educational Activities
There are plenty of free educational activities, but you have to know where to look for them. First, visit your city or county website to look for announcements. Look through your local newspaper to see what is happening in your area. Look for community bulletin boards at the library or the grocery store. Contact local museums, zoos, nature centers, and recreational facilities to find out what programs they offer. Once you find a fun activity, do not hesitate to let your friends know. Word-of- mouth is still the best advertising.
