Weare District and Curriculum
The Weare School District follows a curriculum that is supported by the New Hampshire Department of Education. The New Hampshire Department of Education believes the curriculum provides a set of standards that should inform and guide student learning. The curriculum attempts to instill in students a high regard for creativity, achievement, self and civic responsibility. There are also extracurricular activities designed to engage students in areas of their own personal interest.

Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Weare District Curriculum
Accordingly, the Schoolwide Enrichment Model, which provides a curriculum used at both schools in the district, plays an important role in developing student achievement and acknowledging individual student strengths and needs. The Schoolwide Enrichment Model is a triad model where several different enrichment activities are conducted. These activities can be exploratory, relate to group training or be performed on the individual or group level.
Parents are also encouraged to become involved in the Schoolwide Enrichment model, as are other volunteers. In general, the clusters created from this model will represent a common or shared interest among students and those facilitating each enrichment cluster. These clusters present an opportunity for schools to not only individualize learning, but also present knowledge in a way that is directly applicable to real-world problems. view all Weare tutors

- Looking Toward Wellness - Following the wellness trend that is sweeping the nation, Center Woods Elementary School celebrated a Wellness Week. Parents were asked to make donations as their form of participation.
- Online Registration - Most parents can probably agree that completing countless forms for your child at the beginning of each school year can be taxing. Weare Middle School has unveiled a new system call InfoSnap. Now parents can go online to complete their child’s school related paperwork.
- SeaPerch Competition - The Weare Middle School Science Club attended a competition on a college campus. The competition requires the students to be innovative thinkers in the field of robotics and engineering.

Students should begin researching the wide range of scholarship opportunities available, know the deadline and application requirements, and prepare a list of scholarships to apply for during their junior year.
