Weare District and Curriculum
The Weare School District follows a curriculum that is supported by the New Hampshire Department of Education. The New Hampshire Department of Education believes the curriculum provides a set of standards that should inform and guide student learning. The curriculum attempts to instill in students a high regard for creativity, achievement, self and civic responsibility. There are also extracurricular activities designed to engage students in areas of their own personal interest.
We currently cover the following Weare-area school district: Weare School District.
Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Weare District Curriculum
Accordingly, the Schoolwide Enrichment Model, which provides a curriculum used at both schools in the district, plays an important role in developing student achievement and acknowledging individual student strengths and needs. The Schoolwide Enrichment Model is a triad model where several different enrichment activities are conducted. These activities can be exploratory, relate to group training or be performed on the individual or group level.
Parents are also encouraged to become involved in the Schoolwide Enrichment model, as are other volunteers. In general, the clusters created from this model will represent a common or shared interest among students and those facilitating each enrichment cluster. These clusters present an opportunity for schools to not only individualize learning, but also present knowledge in a way that is directly applicable to real-world problems. view all Weare tutors

Chalk Talk: Finding Money for College
College is expensive. However, do not let this deter you from trying to attend the university or college of your choice. There are many ways to get funding for college. Most commonly students complete an application for federal Financial Aid (FAFSA). Based on the information provided by the student, grants or loans may then be awarded to the student to pay tuition, room and board, and books. Loans must be paid back after a student leaves college, while grants do not. Besides loans and grants, scholarships are another option. Corporations, various organizations such as non-profits and professional societies offer scholarships to students either based on demonstrated financial need, athleticism or merit. Students should begin researching the wide range of scholarship opportunities available, know the deadline and application requirements, and prepare a list of scholarships to apply for during their junior year.
