EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I am committed to an interdisciplinary approach to teaching and tutoring. I strive to cultivate an interactive environment in which students can express themselves freely while learning to engage with the written word in meaningful ways. I take great pride in my students’ success, and feel that it is my responsibility to uphold the highest standards.
I encourage critical thinking and challenge students to work up to their potential, in hopes that their experiences in my classes will teach them far more than how to compose a grammatically correct sentence, analyze a piece of literature, or write a compelling essay.
