My educational philosophy is to develop strong problem solving and other decision-making skills. I feel that knowing the curriculum is important to teach the students and show them how to apply what they learn in real life situations.

I have worked in many different environments with many different students. I now substitute for the school district in GA with different grades from K to high school. I also help out the elementary school with clubs, and act as a mentor “big sister”.

I have experience teaching K-12 students.

I have always been a reader and I have passed on my love of books to my children. I also write, both for enjoyment and professionally. I love crafts, especially jewelry-making, as well as, swimming.
