I’m a life-long educator AND student who is committed to bettering the lives and skills of students. English is a critical factor in education, and determines a student’s success in academic, professional and social arenas.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Utah. I’m a certified English teacher with an ESL certificate. I also studied at Idaho State University and Brigham Young University.

I have taught in North America, Europe, Asia, Russia and on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico. I have taught in public schools, community colleges, and private therapeutic schools and private language schools.

I have been the ACT school supervisor and English teacher; MESA club advisor, and Cultural club advisor. I’m a retired English teacher and dance teacher. Today I spend my time working with grief groups.
