EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
For learning to be successful, teaching needs to be tailored and optimized for each student. By getting to know students, their interests and strengths, a teacher can provide a more engaging and captivating learning environment. I believe that all students should be given the opportunity to grow and develop academically and socially in the way that works for them. In order to achieve this, teachers should strive to make connections between learning goals and real world applications.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I graduated from Carleton University in 2008 with a bachelors in Civil Engineering. In 2012, I completed my bachelors of Education at the University of Ottawa. Finally last summer, I obtained my Additional Qualifications for grades 4-6 through Queen’s University.
