EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I believe every child learns differently and in order to meet diverse learning needs, an educator must create a curriculum that incorporates hands on learning,visuals, listening exercises, and kinesthetic learning.
My goal as a future educator is to make learning enjoyable for my students and to create a warm, loving, and safe classroom environment. Students today are our future. I believe that teachers play an important role in shaping a child’s future.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I recently graduated from Midwestern State University and I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I have successfully completed the education program in my university and I graduated Cum Laude.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have experience working at a daycare and teaching pre-school. During my student teaching, I planned and taught two mini thematic units and evaluated progress of students. I also worked as a teacher for a toddler classroom and am currently working as a substitute teacher.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
During high school I was apart of the high school drill team for four years. I was a team lieutenant for a year and then a captain during my senior year.
