I believe that all children can learn – socially, intellectually, and internally. Relationships with teachers have a huge impact on that learning. Students, in order to feel supported, need assistance with setting goals and how to reach them.

I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from California State University and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from San Jose State University.

I have taught middle school, credential students, and other teachers for over a decade. I been an instructional leader at the school and district level. I have also tutored a number of students over the years.

I have two children at home who teach me every day! I enjoy watching them and teaching them about the world and their interactions with others. I love to take walks, travel, cook, making gifts and other hand-made items.
