It is my belief that all children can learn. Children learn at different rates and in different ways. A teacher must modify the curriculum to meet the needs of the students. Today, more than ever, a good solid education is important on the path to becoming a well-informed, productive, and prosperous citizen.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Middle Grades and Early Childhood Education from Brewton-Parker College. I am certified to teach Prek-8th grade. I also have a Masters Degree in Education Law from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I have attended numerous education workshops pertaining to teaching strategies and practices during my teaching career.

I have taught in the public schools of Georgia for 18 years.

During my spare time, I like to read, surf the internet, watch true crime shows, travel shows, home and garden shows, and cooking shows. I enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts and sewing.
