The middle school English language arts curriculum includes writing standards that ensure children acquire the range of skills needed to be effective written communicators. Students learn how to write persuasive essays, using evidence from various sources to back up their claims. Learners work on organizing thoughts in a purposeful manner that builds their case. Utilizing a formal style of writing is emphasized as well.
Modern world history is one of the primary areas of study in Wapakoneta’s high school social studies curriculum. Students begin the course by developing skills necessary for studying history.
