Every child deserves quality education that is catered to empowering their strengths and preparing them to succeed personally and professionally. I believe that every student has a way to connect to the information and it is my job to facilitate their discovery of that connection.

I pursued Bachelor’s Degree in Dance Education and an undergraduate degree and taught dance for many years. I earned my Master’s Degree in Business Administration and applied for alternative certification to teach. I continue to take graduate level courses for education leadership and attend numerous workshops and seminars annually. I am also now a certified teacher in the state of Oklahoma.

I have taught at the high school level in public education for 6 years. I made a transition to the career tech arena and have been teaching science to health care majors for the past 2 years. My career has allowed me to teach to a diverse classroom including adult students. I am certified to teach Biological Science, Physical Education/ Health/ Safety and Dance.

My time outside of the classroom is spent cheering on my sons for baseball and basketball. I enjoy reading environmental science books as well as novel series. Running and riding my bicycle are also adventures I pursue often.
