Learning is a life-long process. We are all teachers and students. Learning should be fun. As students we should apply our new found knowledge to real world scenarios so we know “what” and “why” we are learning.

I received a diploma from George Brown College in Child and Youth Work before receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at York University. I also have completed my Master’s Degree in Social Sciences.

I have been developing curriculum and teaching Psychology at Fleming College for the past 11 years. I also worked with Trillium College, teaching in their Community & Social Service Worker Program. In addition to this, I have worked extensively with students at the elementary and middle school level for Language Arts and the Social Sciences.

I am very creative and enjoy building things. I love working with power tools, spending warm days in my gardens and going on long bicycle rides. My real passion is nature and wild life photography. I’ve been fortunate to have captured images of a rare barred owl and river otter.
