I believe quality education fosters a safe environment where youth can express themselves and explore their curiosities under the umbrella of creativity, co-operation, compassion, critical thinking and equity; helping students reach their full potential.

I have a Masters in Teaching from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto.I graduated from McMaster University with a B.A.H. in English and Peace Studies. I have published research and was selected as a guest speaker for an educational talk.

In the Masters program we have four practicums as opposed to two where I have practiced teaching grades 4-8, in both the public and private sector.

I am an active member of my community. I have volunteered with several charities and groups to help others.
