Union City District and Curriculum

Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Union City District Curriculum
Students learn how to communicate about their new ideas in Language Arts. The goal of the curriculum in this subject is the integration of knowledge ideas which is accomplished through both reading and writing. Writing is considered an advanced mode of thinking due to the way it prompts reflective and imaginative thought, and so is central to the Language Arts framework.
With this base, students can take on the innovative learning challenges presented in high school from competitions in Robotics, to Mock Trial, to a program in principles of Design. They are prepared by a foundation of clear expectations.

- LHS Extras - Students at Logan High School are able to enroll in a variety of courses during after-school hours. Courses include Electronic Media Production and Gumshoes, a course in forensic science.
