EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Listening, observing, and doing leads to learning. Tell and how, ask to verify, tell and show again, exercise, verify, test, and review, then repeat if necessary. Learning success includes the requirements of the learner and the accreditation/teaching institutions.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I have taught component and digital electronics, electricity, microprocessors, assembly programming language, mathematics, physics, statistics, mechanical pulping, computer architecture, introductory Air to Air missile system design, MS Office, and introductory programming. My teaching background starts from my early days as an engineer in the Canadian Air Force where many did not have the computer experience I had, so I taught them.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have 17 years’ experience teaching electronics technology, computer systems technology, and pulp and paper technology programs at the New Brunswick Community College.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I enjoy bowling when possible and love any opportunity to assist others.
