EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I believe that every student has the ability and right to learn. I believe that all students are unique and therefore should be taught that way too. With support, kindness, and care all students can be successful learners.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I attended the University of Minnesota – Crookston for 5 years and completed two bachelors of science degrees in biology and animal science. I received my teaching license through Minnesota State University – Moorhead. I received my Masters in Biology through Mississippi State University.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have taught high school science for the past 4 years. I taught Biology and Environmental science for two years in a rural high school in Crookston, Minnesota. I have been teaching Biology, Physics, and Environmental science in Shakopee, Minnesota.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I enjoy coaching soccer and track and field. I have coached from the youth to college level in soccer. I have coached junior high and high school track and field in a variety of disciplines. I also have spent time tutoring home bound students when they are unable to attend school regularly.
