I have worked with children since I was a very young age. It has always been my goal to make a difference in the life of a child. I want to teach them to the best of my abilities. I strive to train them to be all that they can be. I seek to encourage additional growth in those areas in which they have gifts and to strengthen those areas where additional assistance is needed.

I graduated in 1998 with an undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies with a minor in Christian Education. With this education I have done home daycare and have worked with children in preparation for school. Because I am a licensed childcare provider, my education is ongoing. I participate in classes throughout the year to help me better understand children.

I used to be a preschool teacher at KinderCare Learning Center in 1998. After that I began working from home with children and doing preschool activities, games and activities that help prepare the children for school. I also have been a Sunday School teacher (and Christian Education Director) within churches over the last 20 years. I was teacher for one year for girls in 1st through 3rd grade for a church group (similar to Girl Scouts).

I enjoy being outdoors, biking and walking. My oldest daughter and I like to cook together as well. In the summer time our family enjoys getting out in nature to fish, hike and camp.
