I have a passion for providing students with ample opportunities to do their best. My teaching includes a variety of pedagogical methods to appeal to students varied learning styles. My lessons include formative assessments in order to to continuously assess student understanding and development.

I attended the University of Toronto and majored in English and Religious Studies. During my undergraduate degree I discovered my passion for literature and decided to continue my education as a teacher, spreading my passion for the written word to my students. I attended D’Youville College for my Master’s of Education Degree.

I have experience working in the classroom for students at the high school level. This includes administering and constructing formative and summative assessments; implement interactive Whiteboard lessons and providing constructive, descriptive feedback to students on their work.

I enjoy reading, writing, and exercising. I also work as a tutor and enjoy working closely with my students on a one-on-one basis.
