I envision a day when each student won’t need a tutor. In order to accomplish this, I think tutors should encourage student’s to be independent learners. As a parent, I also firmly believe that I am one member of a team that includes the student, parents, and other professionals.

I have a Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary’s University in English Literature, with a minor in Communication Arts. I earned my Master of Arts in English Literature at the University of Saskatchewan. I also have a Bachelor of Education with a focus in Secondary English.

During my Master’s program, I taught and tutored university students for three years. I also have participated in academic mentorship programs with the University of Saskatchewan, where I helped students with their academic essays.

I enjoy photography, travel, and dancing. I love being in the outdoors and hiking. I enjoy cooking as well. I am also interested in graphic design. In school, I participated in athletics, debate, drama, and school journalism.
