I believe that all kids have the ability to learn. With the proper supports in place and a variety of techniques utilized, you can find what is needed to make every child successful. I believe teaching is a passion and if you do not care about your students, you will never be successful.

My public school career has included teaching at many levels K – 12 and all disabilities. My area of expertise has been working with students that have behavioural challenges. I am currently employed as a special education coordinator.

I have over 18 years teaching experience with the majority of that being at the middle school level. I have also taught adult males in a prison setting and assisted them in reaching their educational goals of earning a GED. I have taught severe needs students as well. My tutoring background is varied. I have provided home-bound services to many students over the course of my career. I am used to individualizing instruction and tailoring it to specific needs of students.

I have coached various sports over the course of time. I also have experience as a Special Olympics director.
