As an educator it is my role to guide students in their pursuit of knowledge. Whether it be in the classroom or online, students need to feel comfortable and confident to ask the questions necessary to achieve success. I also realize that students are very diverse and that I must be flexible in my teaching approach In order to best support the student. I want to motivate students to believe in their abilities, while inspiring them to be the best they can be.

I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and another Bachelor’s Degree in Education. I also received a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and am a certified teacher in the province of British Columbia.

The best teaching experience are those that allow the teacher to connect with the student using real life stories. Bringing your own experiences in the classroom allow teachers to truly engage students into meaningful conversations.

I am currently involved with tutoring students in the field of science, as well, I coach youth soccer and hockey. I also have a restless passion for outdoor activities which include hunting, hiking, fishing and mountain biking.
