I believe that all students should be treated with integrity and respect. I desire to instill in all my students a desire for lifelong learning. I also believe that each student is an individual and learns in their own unique way.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and then went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Science Education. I am a certified teacher in both North Carolina and Tennessee.

I taught kindergarten for four years, first grade for two years, seventh grade science for two years and sixth grade science for three years. I have taught in the school setting for 11 years total.

When I was in school I took flute lessons, I also participated in softball and basketball. I was greatly involved in my church’s youth group. As an adult I am involved in Wildtree and Classical Conversations.
