My educational philosophy is that not all students are the same but that all students can succeed. I am a firm believer that if students are given enough foundation and have a motivating force within their lives, they can do anything they set their minds to. I believe that, as an educator, I can be that motivating force for those students to become independent thinkers in the future.

I am a graduate of Kutztown University in Biology and Secondary Education, with a minor in Spanish.

I have been a long term substitute teacher. In addition, I have taught 9th and 10th grade biology and algebra. I have also previously tutored a variety of different level students in biology and Spanish.

In my spare time I love to read action novels and garden. I am an avid swimmer and love everything there is to do that surrounds the water. I am also very involved with the community and love to help out wherever I can.
