I believe that education should be tailored to meet individual student needs. Through early and continuous assessment, educators can use student results to guide, direct, and monitor instruction and student learning for the whole group and individual student needs.

I hold a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in English and Philosophy (graduated 1992) and a Master’s degree in English and Education from The College of New Jersey (graduated 2002).

I have over 11 years of teaching experience in English Composition, Language Arts, Writing, and reading for students in grades 6-12 and post-secondary.

I started an after school cross-age tutoring program for students in grades K-5. I also work closely with my daughters’ cheerleading and softball teams. I enjoy reading, writing, jogging, and swimming in my spare time.
