Satisfying curiosity serves as positive reinforcement for learning and practice. Curiosity combined with confidence in their abilities creates a life long, self-motivated learner.

I’ve done four years of an Bachelor of Arts English Degree. It has helped me hone my grammatical and writing skills as well as critical thinking. I’ve also done a lot of creative writing and theater which has helped me to keep my creative thinking and problem solving skills sharp.

I’ve been privet tutoring two children over the summer. One has reading and behavioral issues and the other is an ESL student. They’ve both come a long way and I hope to see them ready for the challenges of school in the fall.

I have been volunteering with the charitable organization, LINKS, to help children diagnosed with learning disabilities get caught up to grade level with their reading and writing skills.
It’s been a very rewarding experience and has reinforced my love of teaching and reading.
