EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Students will gain the most complete, long-lasting understanding of ideas and concepts if they are presented in a way that truly engages the unique learning style of each student.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
At the University of Guelph, I studied History ad Criminal Justice. I completed one further year of full-time studies obtaining a Bachelor of Education from Trent University. After gaining my teaching degree, I have also obtained additional qualifications in Special Education and Library Studies from Western University.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
For over four years, I have worked full time in an Ontario. During this time, I have worked closely with students aged three to nineteen. I also taught subject classes in a wide variety of subjects including English, Literacy, Social Sciences, History, Philosophy, Civics and Reading.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I am very interested in travel and world cultures. Additionally, I have interests in reading, music, cooking, films, world culture and world issues and technology.
