I believe that all students can learn. Sometimes life gets in the way of learning and student success. I believe that education should be afforded to all and that accommodations should be made to meet students where they are,in so doing, I believe more students would realize their potential.

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Criminology and a Bachelor of Education with a major in secondary Social Studies and a minor in English Language Arts.

I have eight years teaching experience, teaching students in public school at the secondary level as well as, in mental health and in corrections.

I have coached the debate team, model parliament, baseball and the football team. I have also been involved with various committees, from the school advisory council to the professional development committee.
