EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
My primary goal in teaching is to allow the needs of students to dictate the lesson plan. Furthermore, the lessons should be enjoyable and active. A bored or frustrated student is not one who learns well. If one can enjoy the subject matter OR the delivery of it, then learning will naturally follow.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I finished my undergraduate degree at the University of Idaho in 3 years. I studied history with a focus in Europe and religious conflict, but am well – rounded in my historical knowledge. I also earned a certificate to teach English as a second language in 2013.

I taught skiing lessons for children and adults in Idaho from 2008 – 2010.
In 2013 I tutored small groups of refugees from all over in aspects if American language and culture. During the 2013 – 14 school year I taught English at a well respected institution in Morocco, the American Language Center. I worked with students 10 and up full time in a classroom setting. I created my lesson plans, assignments, and exams.
I have worked with students whose first languages were Arabic, French, Spanish, Korean, and local tribal languages.
