EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
I believe that it is our goal as educators to guide the voice inside of a student. We shape that voice with proper curriculum or standards, but we inspire it with great teaching. The purpose of education is to prepare students for their future and to safeguard and ensure that we are fully preparing today’s students for the problems of tomorrow. The role of the educator is three fold: listen, discover, and guide. That is, an educator must listen to their student’s needs, discover and uncover strengths and weakness, and then guide that student on the path they take toward a career, college, and life in general.
