It is my goal to meet students where they are and move forward together from there. Learning needs to be real, compelling, and practical. Additionally, it is my responsibility to hold students accountable for their learning. I have high expectations for myself and my students, but I’m there every step of the way, and we work together to achieve those goals.

I hold both a Bachelor and a Masters degree in English Education. Within my bachelor’s degree, I also earned a Coaching Licensure. In addition, I have earned 18 graduate level credits in educational delivery philosophy and 1/3 Ph.D. in Higher Education.

My teaching experience spans 19 years including middle school, high school, post secondary, home school, post secondary teacher training, and corporate oversight of all academic delivery for a reputable college/university system.

I enjoy gardening, renovating my 1881 farmhouse and landscaping. In addition, I’ve been competing in triathlons for several year. Last, but not least, I love reading and raising my two amazing children.
