About Me
EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
It is my philosophy that there is nothing a student cannot be motivated to do or learn. A student should never be embarrassed that he or she does not know material that other classmates have grasped. He or she simply needs some more practice, which is perfectly fine.
Effective tutoring is a two-way street-involving the student and solving problems cooperatively increases the likelihood of that student grasping the material as well as raising that student’s confidence in his or her own intelligence and skill levels.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I received my Bachelor of the Arts degree in Economics from Fordham University in 2011. I have worked with children in both summer camp and after-school settings. I try to keep abreast of tutoring and teaching techniques.

I am an avid reader and writer in my free time. I have submitted a number of short stories for review, and plan on pursing a professional writing career alongside my tutoring career.
